comfortable stay but rough around the edges
The central location allowed us to park easily on the street. Room number 3 is spacious, featuring quirky decor and a vast bathroom that we enjoyed.
The pillows were uncomfortably hard for a hotel that seemed to aim for luxury.

Had an amazing time with friends! The decor is unique and fun, especially the washstand made from an antique console table. We also loved hanging out in the beer garden and trying their delicious Steak and Ale pie. Just a heads-up, it can get lively at night if you're near the beer garden.
We did have one awkward moment with a staff member who was a bit rude about us finishing our drinks. It sort of put a damper on an otherwise awesome night.

Oh, those hot waffles were simply sublime, and the crafted cocktails at the bar added a proper touch! The quirky room features were also a delight, making each corner fun and fab.
Now, as we were all set for a big lunch, the continental breakfast felt a tad underwhelming compared to their cooked options.

I stayed in a Superior Queen Room, and it was spacious with quirky decor that I really liked. The bathroom was huge with a central bath, which was a cool touch! But the pillows were super firm—definitely not my favorite. WiFi was free and fast, which was a win! a pretty comfy and unique room experience.

The food at The Crooked Swan was delightful, especially the sticky toffee pudding and well-cooked mains. drinks service lagged, and my steak arrived overcooked. The atmosphere was welcoming and child-friendly, making it a decent choice for a family outing despite a few delays.

The deluxe double room offered spacious accommodations, complete with a lovely deep bath, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic cooked option that looked perfect, although some minor issues with the restaurant decor caught my eye. While parking was a bit distant, it wasn't too troublesome for us, and overall, it contributed to an enjoyable experience.
